Tellak is a bath and body brand that makes the tools of the Turkish hammam for use at home: a woven kese exfoliating mitt, an olive oil soap bar and a flat-woven peshtemal towel, all made in Türkiye.
The hammam scrub, at home
In a Turkish hammam, the tellak is the attendant who scrubs you down. After a long soak in the steam, the tellak works over your skin with a woven mitt called a kese, and you walk out feeling like you've shed a layer.
That scrub is the reason people keep going back to the hammam. Tellak brings it to your own shower.
Scrub, wash, wrap
It starts with the kese, woven in Türkiye, where the ritual comes from. Soak, wring out the mitt, scrub, rinse. Then wash with our olive oil soap, made in Türkiye, and wrap up in a flat-woven peshtemal towel. You can buy each piece on its own, or get all three together in the Hammam Set.
What we promise
A kese lifts away dead skin and leaves your skin feeling smooth. That's what it does, and we won't tell you it does more.
