- Soak in a warm shower or bath for 5 to 10 minutes. Skip the soap for now.
- Wet the mitt, then wring it out so it's damp, not dripping.
- Step out of the water and rub in long, firm strokes. Go gently on sensitive areas.
- Rinse off, pat dry and moisturize.

A kese is the woven mitt used for the body scrub in a Turkish hammam. The attendant who does the scrub is called a tellak, which is where our name comes from.
Do I need soap or a scrub with it?
No. The mitt works by friction on soft, damp skin, and soap or oil makes it slide. Wash and moisturize afterwards.
How often should I use it?
Once a week is plenty for most people. Don't use it on broken, sunburned or irritated skin.
How do I look after it?
Rinse it well with clean water after each use, wring it out and hang it to dry.
